Safe Room Delivery and Installation Team Member
Perform above-ground storm shelter safe room delivery, quality inspection, and in-home installations. Follow guidelines to ensure that government agency safety standards are met. Work with customers to understand their needs, meet their specific requirements, and deliver an exceptional customer service experience. Problem solve and modify installation processes to maintain an optimum working environment. Operate mechanical and electrical equipment. Install Simpson Strong-Tie Wedge-All anchoring system to secure the safe room to a concrete slab using five-eighths steel Barrell hinges by three and a half inch holes and inserting anchoring bolts at the appropriate locations. Install double-sided A-36 steel doors, steel slide lock bolts, Schlage deadbolts, top and bottom dual ventilation systems, and grade 5 nuts and bolts. Inform customers of the benefits of a Lone Star Safe Room specifically under the FEMA Windborne Debris Standards guidelines.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in the job offered or one year of experience performing quality inspections; performing in-home installations; using customer service skills; operating mechanical and electrical equipment.
